Further opportunities for music; singing assembly which takes place every fortnight for 30 minutes, whole school Christmas performance and other ‘special’ events planned throughout the year; harvest, Christmas or activities linked to topics, (i.e. Ancient Greek Day). 1 2

EYFS will carry out a rhyme week in November and plan a music day in the Spring term.
Year 4 in previous years, have teamed up with Play-it where they had a 10-week course of toots (trainee flutes) and previously doods(trainee clarinets), 1 hour a week and then a performance to the school at the end. This year pupils will have the opportunity once again to learn to play Toots in the Spring term.
